Hi, I'm Fabio, a software developer from Spain. After years building serious enterprise software, I started RandomWheel in 2018 as a fun side project. It's been a breath of fresh air working on something playful and lighthearted.

What started as a simple experiment has grown beyond my expectations. Today, over 400,000 people use RandomWheel every month to make decisions, and together they've created more than 20,000 wheels. It's incredible to see something I built for fun actually helping people around the world.

Why a wheel?

We all face decision paralysis: too many choices, not enough clarity. Many decisions don't have a clear right or wrong answer, and sometimes you just need a nudge in any direction.

Create a wheel with your options, spin it, and let it decide. Sometimes, watching the wheel spin helps you realize what you actually want. Other times, you just need to pick something and move on.

How do you make money?

I don't, at least not from RandomWheel. This is a passion project I maintain in my free time. It costs me a bit to run the servers, but it's worth it to see people using and enjoying it.

Why did you build this?

Originally, to learn web development. But it grew into something bigger. I keep maintaining it because it makes me happy to build things people find useful, and I love seeing creative ways people use it.

Will you keep maintaining it?

Absolutely. I'm actively working on new features like more themes, enhanced celebrations, and new curated wheels to spin right away.

Can I suggest a feature or report a bug?

Is the wheel really random?

Yes. The wheel uses your browser's cryptographically secure random number generator, not the basic Math.random() function. This means every spin is completely unpredictable and fair.

If you get the same result twice in a row, that's normal. It's like flipping a coin and getting heads twice. Each spin is independent. If you don't want repeats, use the Remove button to eliminate winners after each spin. See the full randomness audit.

Do you moderate content?
