What's New
New features, improvements and fixes, as they ship.
Shared links show your wheel again
- Paste a wheel link into WhatsApp, Slack, Twitter or Facebook and the preview card shows that wheel: its title and its own colours, instead of the generic RandomWheel card.
- Cards are made when a wheel is saved, so sharing stays instant.
Embedded wheels: your own look, your own size
- An embedded wheel now looks like the wheel you built: frame, centre image, palette and page background all carry over. Before, embeds fell back to the plain theme.
- Set any width and height, show the wheel’s title above it, and choose whether it turns slowly while nobody is spinning.
- The Embed page was redesigned: the live player sits beside the controls, one tab per app (Notion, Canva, Google Sites, WordPress and more) with a screenshot for Notion, and the code is checked before you copy it.
- The credit line under an embedded wheel no longer gets clipped in the default frame.
Wheels now work in Notion and Canva
- Paste a wheel link straight into Notion or Canva and it becomes a wheel people can spin. No code, no embed snippet.
- The Embed page now has step by step help for Notion, Canva, WordPress, Google Sites, Squarespace, Wix, Canvas and Moodle.
Better spin videos
- Videos are twice as smooth: 60 frames a second instead of 30.
- A video now looks like the wheel it came from, and is titled with it.
- The Download button under a finished video was almost invisible. Fixed.
Pokemon in your language
- All 1,025 Pokemon now use their real names in French, German, Japanese, Korean and Chinese: Bulbizarre, Bisasam, フシギダネ.
- Fixed 37 that showed a form name instead, like "Deoxys Normal" where it should say Deoxys.
- Pokemon types now read in six more languages, and Truth or Dare finally speaks Indonesian.
A Valorant wheel
- Spin for a random agent, all 29 of them, colored by role. Chips let you stay on duelists, initiators, controllers or sentinels.
- Two more wheels on the same page: the 13 competitive maps, and every gun in the buy menu for gun roulette rounds.
- The page is dressed like the game, and we update the roster each time Riot adds an agent or a map.
Embed is a button now
- Putting a wheel on your own site was buried in a dropdown. It is now an Embed button under any saved public wheel.
- The other buttons say what they do too: Modify, Sound, Share and Results.
We audited our own wheel
- Is the wheel really random? We ran 46 million spins through the exact code that picks your winner, and published every result.
- Press start and your own wheel spins itself in your browser, up to ten million times. Watch it look unfair at first and then even out.
- In all 17 languages, at /randomness-audit.
Your wheel, on your own website
- Embed any public wheel on your site, blog, class page or Notion doc: copy one snippet from the new Embed page (or from the wheel itself) and paste it. Visitors spin it right there.
- After you save a wheel, a "Your wheel is live" card gives you copy link, share and embed in one tap.
- A small vote card on the homepage: tell us which theme and feature you want next, and what annoys you. We read every answer.
- Paste a public wheel link into Notion, Slack or Discord and it shows up as a spinnable wheel instead of a plain link.
- The curated wheels (Brawl Stars, Pokemon, countries, yes or no and the rest) can be embedded too, with the variant you picked.
Faster, and you can see your themes
- The theme picker shows real miniatures: your own wheel in each theme, so you can pick one on your phone without closing the editor.
- The Pokemon wheel now starts with all 1,025 Pokemon. Pick a generation with the buttons.
- A lot of speed work under the hood: pages load lighter, the wheel no longer burns battery while it sits still, and browsing is quicker in every language. German and Arabic visitors finally get wheels in their language first.
Speaks your language, everywhere
- Error messages now show up in your language, in all 17 locales.
- Local flavor: the What to Eat wheel and the homepage starter serve Pho in Vietnamese, Paella in Spanish, Karaage in Japanese, and more. Truth or Dare is fully translated too.
- Improved Arabic support.
- My Wheels grew up: search, sort and delete your wheels from the grid.
- A big batch of editor fixes: options keep their image, video and weight when renamed, video links are validated, and weights show real percentages.
- Brawl Stars wheel updated for the Windstock season: Wendy joins, all 106 brawlers.
- Faster first load. And this changelog you are reading.
Casino nights
- New Casino theme: felt-green table, marquee-lights frame, jackpot sounds.
- Upload your own center image: your logo or photo becomes the wheel hub.
